If you are coming by bus from New York City or Boston, please visit the Concord Railways website by clicking here . The bus stop is around 2 miles away from us and you can call (603) 356-0000 to have a taxi driving you here!

 


Directions

From New York City area
Take I-95 to New Haven
Ten I-91 to Hartford, CT

From Hartford, CT
Take Route 84 to Route 90 (the Mass. Turnpike)
Take Route 90 for only one exit to Route 290
Take 290, driving through Worcester, MA to Route 495
Take 495 to I-95
(Boston area motorists take Route 1 or 495 or I-95)

From Boston
Take I-95 North to Portsmouth NH Vicinity
As you approach Portsmouth, move into the far left passing lane and Exit I-95 onto the Spaulding turnpike. The exit sign will read "White Mountains, Spaulding Turnpike and Rtes. 4 & 16". Do NOT pass this exit, as you will soon reach Maine, extending your vacation considerably!
Take the Spaulding Turnpike and after passing the second toll plaza (about 12 miles), Route 4 will end, and you will be on Route 16. Stay on 16 (approximately one and a half hours' drive) until you reach North Conway Village.

From Boston via the Kangamangus Highway
If you have a little extra time for your drive and you want to have a scenic ride through the White Mountain National Forest, you may want to consider a drive along the Kangamangus Highway.
Follow I-93 North to Exit 32 in New Hampshire (approximately 120 miles)
At the bottom of exit 32, turn left onto NH 112 East (the Kangamangus Highway)
The Kangamangus Highway runs for about 30-35 miles along the most beautiful route in New Hampshire.
At the end of the Kangamangus Highway, turn left onto NH 16 North.
Follow NH 16 to North Conway Village.

From Manchester, NH
Take I-293 North to Route 93 North
Turn off of Route 93 at Exit 23 onto NH Rte 104 and follow for about 9 miles
Turn onto NH Route 25 North and follow for about 23 miles
Turn onto NH Route 16 North
Follow NH 16 to North Conway Village

From Ottawa/Montreal
From Ottawa, take 417 Eat to Montreal (turns into 40 just before Montreal)
Take Decarie South (15 South) through Montreal over Champlain Bridge
Take 10 East to Rock Island Exit (55 South)
Take 55 South to Rock Island Border crossing
Get and stay on 91 South through St. Johnsbury
Just past St. Johnsbury turn onto 93 South through Littleton.
Turn onto 302 toward Bethlehem
Stay on 302 - follow signs for North Conway

In North Conway - approaching from the South
When you reach North Conway: turn right on Kearsarge Road - this is the traffic light with Horsefeathers Restaurant on the right and a large park and train station on the left.
Drive up Kearsarge Road, past the Cranmore Inn, until you reach a "T" intersection at the top of the hill. Turn left and drive straight to Cranmore Mountain Lodge, located 1.2 miles from the "T" intersection. Cranmore Mountain Lodge is on the right side of the road. The street address is 859 Kearsarge Road.

In North Conway - approaching from the North
From Routes 16/302, turn left onto Hurricane Mountain Road (by the Vista Country Store). Go up the hill one mile to Kearsarge Road. Turn right onto Kearsarge Road. The cranmore Mountain Lodge is located 1/8 mile down the road on the left.
