Mozzarella Cheese Making, Wool Felting with Herbs and Homemade soap, and Meet and Greet Ambassador Sheep, Zoe & Clara.
Come to the Cranmore Mountain Lodge for an Open House program with staff from the Remick Country Doctor Museum & Farm on Thursday, July 24, 2008, from 11am- 4pm.
Adults and children will enjoy three historic, hands-on activities.
The fee is $5 per person, and includes all three activities. One dollar from the fee will be donated to the Bed & Breakfasts Inn Mt Washington Valley Hospitality Scholarship.
Learn to make mozzarella cheese, a fresh, delicious, semi-hard cheese that is perfect for summer dishes. You will make the cheese using goat’s milk and cow’s milk.
Create a herb-scented wool ball containing homemade soap. This is a classic felting project for ages 5 to 105.
Come pet real live sister sheep, Zoe and Clara, who are Ambassador Animals from Remick Farm. A livestock expert from the farm will answer questions about farm animals.

Sausage Making from Scratch, Corn Husk Dolls, and Meet & Greet Ambassador Sheep, Zoe & Clara.

Enjoy making your own homemade sausage. Learn how to grind and season the meat, to stuffing the casings.
Make your own corn husk doll by learning to fold the wet corn husks into a miniature person. Use yarn to make hair and accessories.

Come to Art on the Porch with Robin Tagliaferri Ferreira at Cranmore Mountain Lodge, North Conway, where you can make a work of art in fun and easy drop-in sessions.
Adults and children are welcome.
